AGSR Gyas has won the elfstedenroeimarathon 2019 in a recordtime of 16 hours and 52 minutes. For a long time it was an exciting battle with number two, the German ten of Cool Running, which eventually finished second in 17 hours and 7 minutes. The fastest in the mix field became the team of the jubilating, organizing association LRV Wetterwille. This in a recordtime of 18 hours and 1 minute. They became fourth overall, behind the winner of last year’s edition Tromp / Aengwirden / Cambridge / Rhine combination (17 hours and 25 minutes). AGSR Gyas also won in the women’s field with a time of 19 hours and 30 minutes.
