Over a thousand participants in nine categories

The Eleven Cities Rowing Marathon attracts over a thousand participants
every year. With an increasing number of (ex) competitive rowers.
Coxed C2X are used which are rigged for sculling. Teams can enter in
the folowing categories:

I         Open category
HVB  Masters men (average age of 36 years or older)
D       Women of all ages
MIX   Mixed (at least 50% women)
J        Youth category (16 – 18 years of age plus 3 adults)
B6     Outsiders category with a team of 6 rowers
B       Outsiders category with a team of 3 rowers
T       Tour category

Next to the prizes for the winners of the different competitive
categories, there are challenge cups for the Mens and Womens teams
who break the record time. The records are:

- ARC/Euro/Hunze/Laak combinatie 17.12.51  (Men, 2010)
- De Hunze                                             20.09.46  (Women, 2010)
